Q. Hi, ok so these are my PC specs and I want to upgrade the components so that I can play Shogun 2 Total War at Medium settings or above.

Please help as I have no idea what graphics card I could and will be ok to upgrade to.
Also, my processor? is that enough for the game? or do I need to upgrade that as well??
My PSU is 200-230 I think but if not I'm pretty sure it's not above 300.

A. If you want a real gaming computer, you will need to upgrade your CPU to at least a dual core at 3.0 GHZ and get a graphics card that is above nvidia GTX 260 or ATI radeon HD 4650. Other than that, You can play some games on your PC for now. You may also need to upgrade your power sworce to 450 Watts or higher so you can support your graphics card.

Q. I have a Toshiba Satellite:L500D. Now-a-days it is starting to lag. And i know ive been playing alot of PC games. Does playing too much PC games cause the computer to crash or slow down its processing. I have noticed it takes a bit longer to open up almost any program. Is this because of too much computer gaming?
A. Computer games definitely do NOT destroy your computer. You might have too much disk space in use. I recommend checking how much disk space is available, I'd recommend having at least 10gb available at all times, even more if you can.
More than likely if your computer is lagging up, it's a memory issue. You could install more RAM to alleviate this. You also want to close out of any additional applications when you're not using them as they'll take up additional memory even if you do not have that window open.
The next best step is to simply restart your computer when it begins to lag out to give it a fresh start. Also remember to clean out the inside of your computer simply by buying a can of air and spraying all the excess dust out of the case so the computer can properly cool itself.
