Q. I want to play Rome Total War but in the video setting the maximum screen resolution is 1024x768. While my computer screen resolution is 1366x768. It's make the graphics bad! how Can i change its game resolution to 1366x768?

A. Some of the older games do not have the option to choose higher resolution that the monitor can run.
I think I played RTW in 1024x768 on my monitor despite using 1920x1280 resolution normally
UPDATE: Installed Lord of the Rings - Battle for Middle-Earth 2 yesterday and it will max run in a 1600x1200 resolution despite using 1920x1280 resolution normally

Why are my computer games not the right resolution?
Q. i am trying to play some computer games on my laptop. it is a compaq presario cq57. The resolution and graphics/screen is great untill i try and play ANY game. then when the game plays it dpoes not take up the entire screen. i want to play the game on the whole screen. When i end the game it goes back to the regular resolution? How can i fix this?
A. normally games default to two screen resolutions, 680X800 and 1020Xwhatever, if you go into the options for the game, many of them will allow you to change it to your setting.
