A. Build it yourself. For $3000, you can get an absolutely SICK computer (whatever you do, DONT buy an overpriced alienware).

This thing is past HD, it professional. You've never seen detail like that before. But alternatively, you could buy 3 smaller monitors for a multi monitor setup for a similar price.
And windows 7 home premium 64 bit, $100 of newegg.
Get yourself a mouse, keyboard, and speakers, and you have a sick gaming rig that costs less than $3000. Putting it together is actually pretty easy.
EDIT: And by the way, please don't make the mistake of wasting $2800 on a computer only to use a single 1920x1080 monitor ot TV. Your computer will never live up to it's true potential! Buy 3 good screens or the beautiful $800 ultra high res monitor I described, so you can at least put all that computer power to use.
