Q. i have a pc game called rollercoster tycoon, it is a disk and you put it in and an icon comes up and you open it, will fraps record all of that game after i open it up? because ezvid stopped recording once i opened up the game. can fraps reord any pc game disk i buy at the store or online?

Q. i have a pretty old computer it has no display adapter updates, no graphics card updates, its pretty much just all 2003 software. Im debating whether i should get a Hauppauge HD PVR for christmas. so does it do all that recording jazz itself like it wont lag or anything or do i need to go get a better computer? i originally bought a dazzle pinnacle studio 14 but after i finished recording the playback would be extremely laggy and the audio would be all jumbled up will a Hauppauge HD PVR have the same problems?
A. yes, it will. try going with a faster computer before you get the hauppauge. also take a look into the tristar game recorder - it does not require a computer to record and it record to usb sticks too. other options are ezcap and pinnacle, but they work the same as hauppague and dazzle. so either a faster computer with hauppauge or use a tristar game recorder. good luck!
