computer game?

Q. hello,i just got a new computer... the features on the box says it has
AMD senpron LE 1200 prossesser (2.1 GHz, 512KB)
1GB DDR2 dual channel memory
160 GB hard drive
NYIDIA GeForce 6100 integrated graphics
my husband bought the game command and conquer the first decade game that uses 10,28.00 MB (this is size shown under add/remove programs in controle panel) and the system requirements for the game are
CPU 800 MHz or faster
RAM 256 MB or more
Disc Drive 8x or faster DVD Drive
Hard Drive 9.8 GB if installing the entire DVD
Video DirectX 8.1 compatible video card
NVIDIA GeForce 2 (or greater) or ATI Radeon 7500 (or greater) chipset required
Sound DirectX 8.1 compatible sound card
he also has several other star wars games he downloaded on here, each holding about 2,134.00 MB
now can these games cause our computer to crash? they are running ok right now, he's been playing them, but could it mess up the computer? please respond ONLY if you know fore sure..thanks!!!

A. No. 100% sure that game should not cause the computer to crash. What I would do though is re-install windows / format your computer. Sometimes windows just becomes unstable if it hasnt been maintained properly in a while.

Can I attach a gaming system to my computer?
Q. I have a dell xps one all-in-one and it has an a video input (I believe an s port) and I also have a converter from RCA to this input. It seems like I should just be able to plug in a gaming system like the original xbox and open it using windows media center, but I apparently don't know how to do it. Or if its even possible.

A. NO!! Computer systems were not created to have video game systems hooked up to them.

Will computer games work on eMachine system?

Q. I bought a new computer and its system name is 'eMachines'. Then played The Sims 2 and I got blurry graphic and I can't see anything clearly. Please help. Did I buy a wrong computer?

A. The make of the computer doesint matter, its the chips inside that do.
The two things could be your screen is very low resolution, or your computer chips are low power. another possibility is the sims 2 settings are set to a low graphics setting.

First I would check the graphics settings on your game, if possible raise the settings, if the game doesint lag/freeze, then your good.
If the game lags/freezes or doesint get any better looking with the highest settings then you should check your screens resolution, graphics chip, ram chips, and processors. compare yours to what is recommended by the game. (can normally be found on the back of the game box or at the games web site)
then it may be as simple as just buying a single new chip for your computer. The people at bestbuy can also help you choose the best chips for your computer and instal them for you (although they normally charge extra for instal)

A. Xp can be used as a gaming computer!

Can I use computer games on this system?

Q. Can I use computer games on an xbox 360? I heard it's like a computer, but can i use computer games on it?

A. No, you cannot. It's in how the system and games are coded with information. Each game is built specifically to be played on its preset system. There maybe some after market parts you could purchase, or some way to work around the code in the software and hardware, but I've never heard of anything like that. Computer games require installation and as far as I know one cannot install anything onto an xbox 360.

What would you like to see change in computer gaming systems?

Q. I recently read that the computer gaming industry is running at 30 or 40% of what they could really be. What would change this? What needs to be done to increase this percentage?

A. personally i would like to see games utilize the dual core technology more, i recently bought Doom but found it only using half of the dual core (one core only) and as its a new comp i built i am really looking for a game to test its limits.

better programmers, and people emplyed only to come up with new game ideas would certainly be a help. also more 3d games and extreme interactive technology if you can find technology to help you pet your cat if your in asia and your cats in ontario why cant you wear a suit that when you get shot vibrates in that spot?

What determines how clear sound from a computer or game system is?
Q. Besides the speakers, what determines the clarity of sound from either a game system or computer?

A. 1. Make and Quality of the sound card.
2. Equalizer and volume level settings.
3. Quality of the cable running from the computer output to the speaker/headphones (properly shielded stereo wires).
Also make sure that your audio cable is running next to equipments which creates electric/magnetic intereference.

Computers now a days comes with digital outputs like S/PDIF HDMI etc... which can be used with compatible sound systems (with S/PDIF, HDMI inputs). These systems ensure a much better clearer and crispier sound.

What computer games right have the highest system requirements?
Q. What computer games right have the highest system requirements?

What is that system requirements?

What is the average and highest fps fo all computer games? (high and low system requirements games)

A. What you need:

-A dual core or quad core pentium or AMD (I like
AMD, but pentium is good too).
-2 gigs of DDR2 Ram
-Raided 10000 RPM hard drives. Size is up to you, but bigger is better for storage purposes. The RPM's are the important thing though, and RAID 0 bumps the speed to something fierce.
-NVidea 6800 ultra or better for a graphics card. A dual set up for card is nice, but not strictly necessary.
-450 watt power supply.
-Compatible motherboard (I like Asus better than Abit)
-A 1600-2400 Dpi mouse (noticeable difference there)
-A light-up keyboard so you can play in the dark.
-Soundblaster Audigy w/ speakers & subwoofer.
-Lian Li (or other) case
-Enough fans to keep that SOB cool

You'll be able to play FEAR, Oblivion, Crysis or Far Cry 2 at full optimization AND run a virus scan in the background. No joke man.

Have fun :)

Edit: And definitely go with a lower GHZ dual/quad core over a higher GHZ singlecore. The dual thread architecture is superior in every way, game manufacturers are starting to exploit that.

what are some cool things to get my teenager boys instead of games and game systems?
Q. I would really like to get something different this year, they have computers and game systems and hand helds, cell phones and mp3's. this year I want to get them something else and I am running out of time? I thought about an ipod but i am clueless and now i think i'm looking for something else all together.
Thanks in advance for you help!

A. I am a teenage boy, and I can tell you that they are lucky to have all of that stuff all ready. Don't get them anything electronic though, just ask them what they want, and if there is something that isn't too expensive that isn't electronic, get that for them, or get them a board game, like monopoly, or life, they may sound a little childish, but they are entertaining, and they involve money and buying and selling stuff. Also, you might want to try getting them clothes, but let them pick the clothes out. It won't be as much of a surprise, but at least they will have clothes that they like, and they get a present for Christmas.

How can kids these days complain that life is all about work?

Q. Think about it, we work for a better tomorrow. We now have so much leisure time that kids often times, do not even have to work anymore. We left lives of living on the penny and being scared about the future and have so much leisure time. We also get vacation days, tv,computers, game systems and clubs. Also I would like to say, most of us do not have to do physical work anymore like lift hay and work in factories. Though i cannot say this for 3 world peoples.

In a easy world, do we have more time to try to find ourselves?

Is it that since our world is becoming more comfortable, we complain more because we are becoming also more lazy?

Any opinion and answer is excepted. Except for lies.

Freedom of speech.
People, we work for a better tommorrow. So that in the future generations after us will even have better life then our is already.
Also i am a freshman in highschool. A teenager. NOT AN ADULT OR AND ELDERLY MAN.
@ the 4th question below.
No i will complain. I am a child of the lazy generation. Therefore i have lots of time to complain. And you know what? This question contradicts my life because i am a lazy guy in real life and complain about doing the dishes or doing laundry
@5th question
i don't have a job and im to lazy to get one right now. i also would like to peruse a career that i enjoy, Also though my question has been said, rich people oftentimes piss me off.
@7th question

Unless we get a way of things in this country, America. Where money is everything. (which sucks) then no. I will be this way. I would like an ideal world though where everyone doesnt have to work and go to war, but thats not happening.

A. Your question's confusing, are you a kid or an adult?
I'm 18, so i'm not a kid ,but you might of been thinking around my age group.
I have loads of work, if it's not college, it's earning money, if it's not earning money it's voulenteering.
Mental work e.g. studying is harder than physical work. If you're athletically fit, physical work is just hard, but academic work can be literally impossible if you don't cut off your social life.
