cheap gaming computer or build my own?

Q. Hello everyone, I am stumped at the moment trying to decide what to buy. I want to play world of warcraft at a decent fps, (aat least25+) I don't know weather to buy a cheap gaming computer, such as a basic alienware computer or build my own. I have absoltly no clue how to build my own!! I am 15, with no experiance. Please Please help me, I dont know what to do.

A. WOW is not a very demanding game and 25fps+ is practically nothing if you get a good video card (anything in the Geforce 8800 series or above) you will be able to play it at way more than that. Dont buy alienware it is a ripoff and overcharges by around 400$ Building a computer to play WOW would only be around 600$ (not including Peripherals) Building your own computer can be really fun and and you will learn a whole lot about computers. It is something you can do once you've done some research online. Only like a year ago i new nothing about computers but now I've built 3 (and i am a year younger than you as well) Do some research online and decide if you think you want to build one (and building a computer is not as hard as most people think. Your other alternative would be to go to a website like cyperpowerpc or ibuypower and choose the specs you want and it will be custom built for you (and at a good price too)

Is the Sims 3 like the original Sims computer game?

Q. I am interested in buying the Sims 3 game. Is the game like the other Sims games on xbox where you have a story line to follow? Or is it more like the original Sims computer game where you can build your house add accessories and you have to make sure you eat, use the bathroom ect? I like that type of game better where it is like actual life. What are some of the things that you can do in the game? Can someone explain it to me. Thank you!

A. Alot has changed since "The Sims" but the original concept is the same.
In the Sims 3 there isn't a storyline. You can make your own, or not, it's up to you.

Spore is an excellent game but mines broke cell stage will take you 10-30 mins to do and has no stragety at all creature stage is the same but may take up to 3 hours to complete tribal stage and civilisation stage use only stragety and combined you'll be doing them for 4 hours space stage is like creature just being a veichle instead.

Q. I recently read that the computer gaming industry is running at 30 or 40% of what they could really be. What would change this? What needs to be done to increase this percentage?

A. personally i would like to see games utilize the dual core technology more, i recently bought Doom but found it only using half of the dual core (one core only) and as its a new comp i built i am really looking for a game to test its limits.

better programmers, and people emplyed only to come up with new game ideas would certainly be a help. also more 3d games and extreme interactive technology if you can find technology to help you pet your cat if your in asia and your cats in ontario why cant you wear a suit that when you get shot vibrates in that spot?
