Logitech is good too and has wireless ones (but need batteries). You can buy them straight from their website.

can you connect a turtle beach gaming headset to your computer?
Q. it is an XLC Xbox 360 headset

A. Yes, just plug in the long cable to the green jack on your computer. If you need the mic to work too, then you'll have to get a 2.5mm-to-3.5mm female/male adapter to plug into the pink jack on your computer.

Help with Computer headset for gaming?
Q. Well im getting a Turtle Beach Ear Force Z1 for my first headset for gaming and i just wanna know one thing, What do the Headset USB Adapters do? cause i wand to have music coming out of my speakers and sub woofers but still chat with my friends online, that means i dont want the music coming out of my headset i was my friends voices coming out the headset and thats it. Now if i want that to happen do i get a Headset USB adapter like the Turtle Beach Amigo II or are there other ways to do this

A. You can select what hardware device is used for which purpose in the Control Panel if you are running Windows.

In the Control Panel, select 'Sound'. Just set your speakers as the default device for sound output, and the headset for voice recording/input. You can talk all you want and sound will still come from the speakers.

You don't necessarily need a USB headset to do this. Even analog (headset-jack type) mics can be setup this way. Windows just needs to recognize that there is some kind of headset/mic installed on the computer.

Will a Turtle Beach Ear Force X12 Gaming Headset work on my computer?
Q. I was wondering if there are specific requirements for the X12s.
I have an Acer Aspire M5800.

A. It should work. But trust me, gaming headsets are a waste of money. Just giving you a bit more of a surround sound, even though most sound cards can simulate the same experience with a normal headset.

Plus gaming headsets are designed to break after a certain time, so the customer will have to buy a new one.

Computer Gaming Headset?

Q. My headset broke a couple days ago and i cant fix them. I have been looking at some headsets that are around $100 I have looked at Corsair Vengeance 2000 and the Logitech G930. I don't know witch one to get. I want a headset that has good sound and mic quality. Witch ones should i buy or if you have any other good headsets please tell me about them.

Thanks!

A. I would recommend the headset that i use. The Razer Carcharias. It is quite a bit under $100, it costs $60. But it is a professional grade headset with great sound quality, and very clear mic quality. It is also very comfortable. I wear glasses and most headsets are uncomfortable because of it but these are so soft that it doesn't bug me at all. Overall, really nice quality, nice looking, for quite cheap.

What is a good headset for my computer, any recommendations?

Q. I'm looking for a headset that is around 25 dollar to maybe 59. I would also like one that is wireless or have a long cord. Also can game headsets work on a computer? I have a friend who is offering to sell me it for 40$.

A. Logitech makes awesome peripherals. Just search around their website and I am sure you will find something that fits your budget and your needs.

As far as I know, I don't think that gaming headsets for like an Xbox or a PS3 would be compatible with a computer.

What should I get for a Gaming computer?
Q. Well I just got a computer so i want to get some upgrades for it. Ive been looking at Razer Carcharias Gaming Headset, a logitech g510 keyboard, and a razer molten naga mouse. SO im asking you if you have any reason i should not get these or any recommendations on what i should get?

A. All the worthless bells and whistles you mentioned above are not "upgrades", as you called them.

For a gaming computer, what you really need is:

A good processor, at least Intel Core i5-2500K or even better i7-2600K, mount either one on an LGA1155, Z68 chipset motherboard
A good graphics card, at least GeForce GTX460 or better
Minimum 4GB (8GB would be better) of DDR3 1600 or 1333 RAM

How do you fix an Astro A40 Computer Headset Buzzing Noise?
Q. I just got a new Astro a40 computer gaming headset. But it makes a constant buzzing or crackling or static noise that is very annoying and stupid for the expense of this headset. This noise is also heard by others when I'm in Skype. I can't find a solution anywhere. Help.
I just noticed, it seems like the more tabs and programs I have up the louder the static sound.

A. This happened to a Turtle Beach headset my brother had. I just installed the latest realtek audio drivers and it fixed the problem.
