How do I convince my parents to buy me the parts for a gaming computer?

Q. I would love to build my own computer. I want a gaming rig that can run like 3 crysiss max graphics at the same time.

A. You won't convince them that a teenager can build a computer without blowing up the entire house.
You and I know that won't happen, but you won't get them to believe it.
Then there is the "money" factor. Why should they trust you to build a computer when they could go out and buy one with a warranty?

I want to start getting an idea of the gaming rig I want to put together soon, help?
Q. I'm no pro at computer hardware, but within the next year I want to start putting together a somewhat epic gaming rig, something that won't go obsolete in a while, and something that will run games at their maximum. I need some help choosing a pre-built, yet upradeable desktop. I can get the accessories myself. Where should I start looking at pre-built computers? I will upgrade them later on, but I need one that will perform extremely well without having to be upgraded right away. Thanks!

A. pre-build pc's are fine if you buy them from companies that will pre-build the computer from the parts of your choosing. for example
http://ncix.com/
they have a selection of pre built computers that you can add/change anything you want (customize) OR you can start from scratch and build it completely custom to what you want. and all they do is take the parts from their inventory make it and ship it to your house. REALLY EASY.
