What is a great computer game that includes strategy and sci-fi that isn't complicated and/or expensive?

Q. I'm looking for a great computer game that is simple, fun, and not very expensive.

I would look gameplay videos online to see these games first then buy to see if you like them.

How do you record sounds from your computer internally?

Q. I wanted to know if there was an application that can record sounds within my computer from games, videos, Voice IMing etc.

P.S I have a HP computer with Windows 7.

A. Unless you have specific drivers on your sound card to enable it, Windows 7 disables the ability to do this.

I struggled with this for a week before I figured out what was going on. You can read more about the issue here:

If by some miracle you HAVE the drivers and correct sound card, then you need software like Audacity (available here: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/) and change the input setting to "Stereo Mix" or "What U Hear" (depending on the sound card.)
