A. There is not really any software that will improve your gaming but you can do the following which may improve performance.
Get the latest drivers for your graphics card, soundcard, display
Defragment your harddrive
check for spyware, adware. viruses
Make sure you have no other programs running while playing.
Disabling anti virus while you play games may help but do this at your own risk.

Q. I have a dell inspiron 1525 laptop and I like to play combat arms from time to time. I can only stand to play for about 5 minutes until i get frustrated with how slow my computer is and how much lag there is. Whats the best way to improve my computer for fps gaming?
A. In order to play games at best graphics and performance.........
Eg:-Crysis Warhead,Far cry 2 etc.......U should upgrade ur Graphics Card to such a level that u can feel the heat of the game!!!!!!!!!
