Does anybody know any cheap and good quality gaming computer brands?

Q. I am looking for a DESKTOP Gaming Computer that is $2000 and under, or would it be cheaper and better to build one myself with the parts?

A. Building is cheaper (usually) since you save on labor. But then again you can make a mistake and get a wrong parts, you can get DOA part and spend huge amount of time troubleshooting (since you have no replacements). Building yourself is fun but can be frustrating for the first time (and second...).
For under $2000 you can get absolutely the best computer and I mean one that will run all games on high settings and 1080p and decent FPS. It surely will be i5 2500K or 2600K, 8GB RAM, and really nice video card like ATI 6950 or Nvidia GTX 560 Ti and up. Check this computer:

What computer can play Modern Warfare 2 at the max?
Q. I would like it if the computer processor an i7 or quad core. Maybe under $2000. I don't mind if it is also a custom. I just want a computer that can play modern warfare 2 at the max!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

A. CoD:MW2 should have almost the same system requirements like CoD:WaW, but thats what we all predict. It is always better to have excess Graphics power, so that you can also play games released in the future. IMO, the specs should be like-

Core i7- Any, the i7 family is enough for playing any games
X58 or P55 Mobo- Doesn't really matter that much any of them will do
4GB(LGA1156) or 6GB(LGA1366) of DDR3 RAM will do
For the graphics, go for GTX 285 or ATI 5870, although they are too powerful cards, we are just futureproofing because the actual specs aren't predictable.
HDD- Any HDD with 7200RPM and atleast 16MB cache will do.
Power Supply Unit(PSU)- 800W, because of the GTX 285 or 5870 requirement.

An example of a system capable of playing COD6:MW2 is
