What's the difference between a Notebook Computer and a Laptop Computer?

Q. Well my mom has been asking and does the Notebook Computer have anything different from a Laptop. Like does the Notebook have Internet like a Laptop or what? What do you think is better to buy? Because I know a Laptop is more expensive.

A. I think you mean a netbook.
Notebook is just another name for a laptop.
Netbooks are smaller and have no cd/dvd drive.
Apart from that, a netbook can be just as good as a laptop.
It depends on the specs, some netbooks have a very small hard drive and come with linux installed.
My netbook is as good as my laptop, it came with Windows XP, 160 GB hard drive and 1GB of ram.
I upgraded it to Windows 7 and upgraded to 2GB of ram.
1GB of ram was perfectly ok for XP, and Windows 7 ran ok with the 1 GB, upgrading to 2GB speeded it up a little.
I tend to use the netbook more than the laptop as it is so portable and does everything that my laptop does.
Anyone who wants to play high end games would have to go for a laptop with good specs, i.e. a fast processor, plenty of ram and a good graphics card.

What should i buy a netbook or a notebook computer?
Q. Please help me to choose, bet. Buying a netbook or a notebook computer. Which one is best to buy?

A. A net book is for simple use. It has no DVD/CD drive, less memory, storage and usually a dummied down OS or an ancient one like XP.

Laptop/notebooks are much better. You can do almost anything but heavy gaming on a laptop. They have DVD/CDs, more memory and a modern OS like Windows 7.
