What kind of computer is better? A iMac from 2006 or a Dell dimension e510 from 2006?

Q. The iMac has 3gb of ram and a 2ghz intel core duo with 2 cores. The Dell dimension has 4gb of ram and an intel penguin 4 processor. I will be doing photo editing and casual gaming like mine craft.

A. iMac
.
It is not based on MS DOS
.
And it has only 3 programs that start up when you start up the iMac
.
It is getting a little old but it is a fantastic one for a new bee
.
To the Mac World
.
Apple has a Mac Game Arcade that all mac owners can go to to buy any game that their Mac can use
.
1,350 games at this time with weekend spcials that give a new meaning to on Sale
.
I got Civilization V for $9.99 back in December
.
And 70% 0f the games have a demo that ya can download to see if you like it and if it is on sale for a weekend and you want to buy it 3 weeks latter you get it at the on sale price
.
And they just got Quake 4 for the Mac on the to be released list of pre orders it cost $19.99
.
Then there is the Apple app store for the Mac
.
That a person can get lost in just looking at all the free ones
.
180 of them and new ones being added old ones dropped
.
All the time
.
And everything you buy at the Game store or app store is on file as being yours
.
and if you get a new Mac you can go to the Mac Game Arcade or app store sign in and down load every game you purchased for as long as electricity is around

what kind of processors can the dell Vostro 420 mother board support?
Q. I recently inherited a dell Vostro 420 from a friend and am turning it into a gaming/photo editing computer. I've already replaced the graphics card and the power supply and am looking into a more powerful processor and was wondering what kind of processors the stock mother board in my computer can take so I know if i need to replace the mother board or not.

A. if your cpu is damaged or want to upgrade forget about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

because that mobo has lga 775 which supports 6 years old core 2 duo and core 2 quad processor that cost about 250$
