What should I look for in a cheap but semi good Gaming Computer?
Q. I am looking for a Gaming Computer to give my son for Christmas but I don't know what to look for. I am also on a small budget of $700-$800. If any one can tell me anything about what to look for in a Gaming Computer, that would help me out alot.
A. Gaming computer should be balanced, it needs good video card and processor, for example for your budget Intel i3 would be ideal, with video card like Nvidia GT 630 or ATI 6670 and up, RAM - even 4GB would be perfect for such budget, 8GB is preferable but not necessary. The rest - 500GB hard drive, DVD burner - are standard, any good looking case to say it's gaming PC, reliable power supply 400W+. Any computer from the store would not do, they are unbalanced non-gaming machines. Get real custom gaming computer like this one:
