What are the best parts for a gaming computer?

Q. I'm looking for the best parts for a gaming computer so that I can get all of it off of ebuyer and build my computer but i'm not too sure what are the best things to have. I want to be able to play Garry's mod, Minecraft, Left 4 Dead 2, Lego games, Sumotori Dreams and World of Warcraft. I also want to record videos and put them on Youtube and eventually become a partner.. So what are the best parts for the computer and what is the best recording software?

A. Tom's hardware provides very good comparison guides for most components and even low, mid and high end build guides that you could take in total.

What are some good video capturing software for free?
Q. I want to record some game on my computer. What are some free software that is good for record computer games? You can also throw some paid ones in your answer if you'd like, but I mainly want free ones that are good.
It also needs to record sound.

A. There are some very good free screen video recorders and some very expensive ones...

BB FlashBack Express - http://www.bbsoftware.co.uk/BBFlashBack_FreePlayer.aspx - good screen video capture program. Captures to AVI and SWF formats. The problem with this one is it puts a halo around the screen cursor which cannot be removed.

Expression Encoder - http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=5c3c5f97-678c-4c99-a7fc-f84f320c626f - An advanced audio/video-encoding and live-broadcasting application. A huge program but the video capture is great. Captures to WMV format. The free version is good enough for most things but only captures 10 minute segments. The full version is $600 but it is a very good program. There are also less expensive versions of it which aren't anywhere near that - http://www.microsoft.com/expression/products/Purchase.aspx#tabs-1

Screen to Video - http://www.koyotesoft.com/indexEn.html - great screen video capture program. Can capture screens to AVI, SWF, FLA and WMV formats. My favorite free recorder.

Wink - http://www.debugmode.com/wink/ - A tutorial and presentation creation software. The screen capture is great. Captures to SWF format.

The most common free one is CamStudio - http://camstudio.org/ - but I stopped using it some time ago after I found it could not capture subtle gradients and changes some screen colors.

Camtasia is very good - http://www.techsmith.com/camtasia.html - but it's $300. Fraps - http://www.fraps.com/ and Bandicam - http://www.bandicam.com/ are good. I think they are a bit heavy on resources but they are less than $40 each.

Then there is Adobe Captivate but that's $900.

Camtasia, Expression, Wink and a couple of the others have their own editors otherwise just use a video editor to edit them.

If you mean from a game console then hardware capture and encoding is better. Hauppauge, AVerMedia and Blackmagic are all good makes. Personally I like the Hauppauge HD PVR - http://www.hauppauge.com/site/products/data_hdpvr.html the gaming edition is good but the "normal" one has better software.
