What is the reason for my computer game not installing?

Q. Today I bought "The Sims 3". My computer has the requirements for the game, and the game would install on my computer, but for some reason, the code won't work. It asks for a code, and I use the code that the game came with. (I bought the game new. It was wrapped and everything) Everytime I try putting it in, it says that it is an invalid code.

Is this a common problem? Why does it do this? How can I fix it?

A. have you try putting the code in exactly as it is typed (make sure lower case letters are lower case, capital letters are capital). if it still doesn't work you may need to call customer support.

How to find out if my computer has the requirements for a PC game?
Q. Im completly new to computer games and I wanted to a buy age of empires. How do i find how much "ram" and stuff is on the computer?

Thank you

A. On Desktop, right click and then click properties. Go to settings Tab and click Advanced. Click the Adapter Tab.

This thing will tell you how much VGA you have. And each game has a requirement of some VGA memory. If you want to play Age Of Empires then you shouldnt really worry because it even runs on 32 MB VGA.

I have 1 GB VGA and I can play almost Evey game on my PC..
