Computer makes a noise in full screen games?

Q. Whenever i'm running a computer game in full screen (higher graphics games) i hear this weird noise in my computer and i'm unable to determine where it's coming from. I've tried maxing out my graphics card fan to see if it is because the fan is being made louder but that doesn't sound anything like it. What could it be, could my hard drive be making it possibly?

A. offcenter fan in one of:

PSU
GPU
case fan
or mobo fan(s)

high hard disk activity?

now would be a great time to determine if your case is overheating on load.

there is ZERO RECOVERY from heat damage.

How to minimize a computer game window from full screen?
Q. Is there some way to play a computer game without it filling up the whole screen? I have a Mac, so dont say how to do it on a Windows comp. Any help is appreciated :) And btw, the game is Sims 3
i found out how to do it, and none of you said the right answer :P You have to press Command + Return (Enter, for mac). But i found out how to do it because of the answer of one person, so i'll give him/her best answer
