How can I keep my computer from turning itself off?

Q. I got my screen replaced a few weeks ago and every since, my computer will just automatically cut itself off for no reason. I asked this same question on yahoo answers and the only thing I got was for me to clean where the fan blows along with the keyboard etc. So I bought one of those aerosol cans and it's still shutting itself off, especially if Im trying to play games on it. Could someone please help me.thanks

A. More than likely, your computer is shutting down to overheating. The computer does this to protect itself from further damage. This is why it shuts down during game play. Gaming puts stress on the processor and video components. Stress causes heat.
Open your computer case - after you have unplugged the computer. Take your aerosol can and blow out the dust around the processor, heatsink, and fan. Then blow out any other case fans.
If the above doesn't resolve the overheating issue, then you may need to remove the heatsink/fan and reapply thermal compound to your processor.

How do you break the online addiction?
Q. This concerns me. I know of a friend who recently got into online gaming and I know it can be very addictive. Here I sit at the computer playing with Yahoo Answers and I find it fun. I'm not too concerned with myself becoming addicted because I've only had more time this week to play around. Yahoo stops you at a certain point of answering questions which for the online addicts I think is a great idea, but that can take all day.

So what would you recommend to people who are obsessed with playing on the computer all day? How would you drag people away from the computer? Would you give them advice on setting time limits? What would you do? What do you do now?

A. UNPLUG THE CONNECTION CORD OR SIMPLY, TURN OFF THE COMPUTER AND SET THE COMPUTER WHERE NO OUTLETS ARE LOCATED,
