A. eBay! I just bought my barebones PC from Magic Micro. There's about 3 major companies that provide this service on eBay. Just search Barebone computer and you'll be able to browse different cases and upgrade or downgrade the hardware right in the auction. I bought a 3.2ghz quad core 24gb ram, blu-ray, no os, no HDD for under 1K! I was getting ready to spend over $2500 for the same specs on Dell.com. I dont need the operating system, video card, or hard drives since I already have those in my current computer. Saved LOTS of money.
Whats a good gaming computer at a lower price?
Q. I'm looking to start diving into PC gaming. I'm not very smart on computers, nor am I rich. I'm just looking for a good quality computer at a lower price that can run: The Elder Scrolls, Battlefield, Counter Strike, Minecraft, etc. Can anyone think of any computers? Nothing expensive like Alien Ware, at least 700 dollars.
A. If you want a cheap computer, you're going to have to assemble it yourself.
