Q. I'm looking for a good desktop computer (no laptops please) that's under $1000.
It should be able to run bf2 at max settings, that being the most intensive game. Building my own is not an option so please don't suggest I do that.

A. There are plenty good gaming computers for under $1000 and they offer really good benefits for those who did not build computers before. Like overclock, support, simply a phone call that will solve all problems....

Scroll down and choose a model and customize, research parts. Get at least 4mb ram and a mobo that handles 16GB+ and at least a dual core 3.2ghz or more CPU, and up the power supply to an Antec 400 or more.
You will get Far more value there, plus lifetime good tech support by phone, versus the 1 year India tech with some many others.
