whats the best power supply for around 100 dollars? for a gaming computer?

Q. im interested in a gaming compouter and i have all the specs. whats the best power supply for around 100 dollars. or cheaper.

A. don't listen to sam i am
up above

he's a complete idiot obviously

YOU CAN use any power supply. the more power the better, it won't fry anything, at worst you don't supply enough power and the components won't boot up.

i've been on both sides of this situation.

--------

I purchased a OCZ Gamerz power supply i think mine is about 750w
it is FANTASTIC. i love gaming, and i love this power supply, it glows blue, and is very quiet.

get it from http://www.newegg.com/
search under power supplys in the computer components area, you'll find it.

Power supply for gaming pc?
Q. Thinking of making this gaming rig..here are the specs..
AMD Phenom II X2(3.10ghz)
ATI RAEDON 5670(1GB)
motherboard- ASUS M4A88T-M/USB3
http://www.asus.com/product.aspx?p_id=gu2wngbz0ly8zkvu
2Gb DDR3 memory
1Tb hard disk.
SO HOW MUCH POWER SUPPLY SHOULD I PUT IN SO THAT EVERY PART GETS SUFFICIENT POWER?

A. Is your m-ATX motherboard going in a computer case that also supports ATX form factor? If not your choices are going to be limited. I prefer real large cases like the Haf 932 {link below} that supports ATX , m-ATX, E-ATX motherboards but also you can fit an ATX PSU in. I have also listed some power supply calculators below.
My preferences are for name brand modular power supplies that deliver a lot more power than I need for possible future upgrades and add-ons. For a few dollars more this is feasible.
If you are running Win 7 64-bit I would also consider more ram. Also I don't care for ATI cards and have included a benchmark chart.
I'm sorry if I've gotten a off subject but a little more research might save you some heartache and money.
