Q.

A. Install Microsoft and prepare for a hostile take over...

jking, here's how:

"Remove a Yahoo Game File From Your Computer
Step1
Go to the 'Start' menu on your computer and select 'Computer.' Click on 'Uninstall or Change a Program.'
Step2
Select the Yahoo game you wish to remove from the list and click 'Uninstall/Change.' A window will appear asking if you are sure. Click 'Yes' to continue.
Step3
Restart your computer when it has finished uninstalling the game.
Step4
Check your computer to be sure that the game has been completely removed. Follow the same process for any other downloaded games you wish to remove.

Remove a Yahoo Game File From Internet Explorer
Step1
Choose the 'View' option from the web browser's toolbar.
Step2
Select 'Internet Options' and choose the 'General' tab.
Step3
Click on the 'Settings' option. You'll find this located in the 'Temporary Internet Files' section.
Step4
Choose 'View Objects' and highlight the Yahoo game file you intend to remove.
Step5
Select 'File' and then opt to 'Remove Program File.'
Step6
Click on the 'Yes' button to confirm this action.
Step7
Be aware that deleting a game file does not mean the entire program has been removed. The next time you start the game, a fresh game file will automatically load."

hi have successfully downloaded games from yahoo but when I go to open it freezes my computer help!!?
Q. The games downloaded alright and then when I double click on them it shows the busy icon on my mouse and then the computer hangs, freezes up and I have to manually switch off. Have updated java, tried switching off the virus protection etc. Can use shockwave fine... anyone know what to do!?
thanks for advice so far have tried virus checks all well... I paid for one of the games.... is it something to do with my fire wall? It is a wireless laptop running windows XP

A. I might be too late, but for the games you haven't bought yet, try downloading them again from a site with better support than Yahoo. Two good ones are Game Socks (talking socks) and Big Fish Games (the big green fish).

They have all the same games as Yahoo.

http://www.gamesocks.com
http://www.bigfishgames.com/index.html?afcode=afd64f20f3f8

Game Socks lets you play games you buy on all your computers and reinstall them.

As for the game you bought, email Yahoo support and hope for an answer because I hate when I buy a game and I can't play it.
