How to put old PC games on the computer?

Q. I have a Nancy Drew game I want to play, but it's old. It's from 2000. I set the set-up under Windows 2000 and tried to install it, but it won't. Also, the disk of the game only shows set up icons and the information of the game, it doesn't show up as the game. What can I do to play the game? Thanks!

What is a good gaming computer?
Q. I am looking into purchasing my first gaming computer. I don't really know what exactly to look for but do I have my eye on the Alienware X51. I want something dependable and powerful for under $2000 if possible. I want something with some sort of warranty as well. I don't want to build the computer myself because I don't know enough about them. Also I don't trust myself enough with building one, so please don't suggest I learn how. I really just want to know an affordable and fairly good pc.

A. Ok as any computer gamer and the first thing they will tell you is do not i repeat do not get alienware. Don't get me wrong alienware x51 is a very nice computer but way way way way overpriced because you're essentially paying for a brand name and a nice case. If people say ebay do it at your own risk.

You don't want to build a computer that is totally fine. With a under $2000 you can get a beast gaming rig that will definitely last you a while and play all the latest games on max.

My recommendation? check out newegg, ibuypower, cyberpower for already pre-built gaming desktops that look much better than alienware desktops, have better internal parts and in the end cheaper. Now with $2000 you can almost get any computer of your choice from those three websites chosen.
