A regular gaming PC has a minimum of 4 GB of RAM but more RAM can help the game run smoother.
Processor speed is the amount of information it can carry out in a second and is usually at least 2 GHz for a gaming PC.
Memory for the game is important too, make sure you have enough space on the disk for the game.

A. If it was a gift, then no. If it was not a gift, then yes. If she built it so you could play games but didn't tell you it was a gift, there's a chance she could get it back through legal means.
