A. Graphics card. Always focus on CPU and GPU - make sure your CPU isn't bottlenecking your GPU.
Don't listen to that asshole below me. An unused RAM is a waste RAM. So don't waste your money on too many RAM like 16-32GB. It's ridiculous. Just get any 8GB (2x 4GB) 1600MHz CL9 memory will do.

Q. I want to make my own gaming computer, but I would also like to save some money. The most I would want to pay for a computer would be $800. The point is, can anyone give me a good price and performance build for a desktop gaming computer? I plan to use my current monitor, keyboard, and mouse to save some more money. If the parts you suggest are incompatible with certain keyboards, monitors, or mouses please tell me. (I wouldn't know why)
A. Just look at Best Buy for a gaming computer for that price. Some of the deals are amazing.
