A. Build the computer yourself. It's much, much cheaper, and it's not exactly difficult. This guide tells you basically everything you need to know as well as lists tons of components to give you a rough idea of how much it'd cost. Read it well.

What is the best desktop computer for gaming?
Q. Ive recently been getting into video games and have been wanting a new computer that will work really well even with lots of games on it. I have a laptop, but its already slow enough without adding tons of games to it. I was also looking into an imac but then realized that i cant play Skyrim on it (my biggest desire). Unless Razer makes a desktop that i havent heard of, i would like something under $1000, or no more than $1200. Please help! Thanks!
